Ramline Magazine Rattle

I recently purchased a RAMLINE 18 round (yes, 18) magazine for a ruger P Series 9mm. Although I am yet to try it out, I have loaded it with ammo.

I have to admit, for an aftermarket magazine the spring action is absolutely smooth. However, after loading about 12 rounds the magazine starts to rattle rather loudly during any motion. If I load it with a full 18 rounds and shake the magazine, you could confuse it for a crude musical instrument.

Did I make a bad purchase here? Is this fixable?

Thank You in advance,
synapse

Have the same problem with a 15 rounder for my Hi-power, however it works just fine. Taking the mag apart is tricky.. and what's wierder is that the spring doesn't come out. So no, I doubt you can fix this "problem".
