I just got the Ruger M77 MarkII in a .300wsm, and now im getting one in a .270 Win. does any one have this rifle, if so how do you like it??

My friend has one in 270, he loves it and I love borrowing it:) Our only complaint is it seems to kick more than his other M77 300 win mag

My buddy Timbokhan owns one with a Zytel stock which I believe is Swahili for "recoil enhancing". Kudos to you if that stock actually fits you and feels right, I for one am out in the cold on that matter. I find them from time to time at pawnshops, you might try calling around.

Ah, Rockstar.esq.... We are back to slamming my friend the Zytel stock I see... Seriously though, the older style Ruger Zytel stocks are really not the most comfortable stocks in the world, but I still like mine just fine. Why? Its light, and I don't find it prohibitively uncomfortable (a point that Rockstar and I have argued endlessly), and finally because I happen to find it aesthetically pleasing, which is obviously trivial in terms of function. Basically, I am willing to trade an increase in recoil for a serious decrease in weight and a serious increase in durability and function. From an accuracy standpoint, the rifle shoots as good as I can. I would hesitate to call it a tackdriver, but the .270 is an inherently accurate cartridge, and my rifle has delivered good, utilitarian accuracy.
