I went over to http://www.jgsales.com/ earlier today and noticed that they have some surplus 870 riot guns for sale, 20", 3" chamber, rifle sights for $269. I broke out the plastic posthaste, and one is now on the way. I've been looking around for a while, and almost bought one from a batch a guy here in town had, but I wanted sights. $269 doesn't seem like an actual steal, but shipping was just $12, so after the transfer fee I should be out the door for not much over $300. I've had real good luck in the past with J&G, hope it holds.

That's a good deal on a great gun. I bought mine new and paid almost a hundred bucks more than that, and got a very good deal from what I've seen. If I was lookin' for another, I'd be on this like... well, a shooter on a good gun deal.

You wouldn't happen to know if these are Police or Wingmasters would you? I saw "Riot shotgun" at a different site, asked, and never got an answer as to what it actually was.

Looks like a matte/parkerized finish to me, which would make it a Police Mag rather than a Wingmaster, if I understand models aright.
