I recently found a whole lot of interest at the Open Directory site for gun control (http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=gun+control) PETAphile issues (http://dmoz.org/Society/Issues/Animal_Welfare/Animal_Rights/Activism/), crime, (http://dmoz.org/Society/Crime/), shooting sports. (http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Guns/Shooting/).
Each directory links to beau coup sites. These folk are looking for editors who can add items to their listings. If I had more time I'd volunteer to add sites to their anti-PETAphile list.
