These things are :cuss: hard to put on!! Anyone else have problems snapping theirs on??

Hint: they're directional. If you look on the "female" snap, there will be a small tab on the inside of one side of the snap. This side must be place on the "male" snap first, and then sort-of rotate the other side of the snap into place to actually "snap" it.
It's hard to explain but obvious once you get it.

Zak's got it... Start to engage the snap from the bottom first.

I can't get the bottom ends to meet...the belt's way too thick!!

Frory-san says just get it on there like Zak said and quit yer whining! ;) They'll loosen up a bit after only about 20 "snappings".

Soak the leather in water and kinda strectch it on and off 10 times. Let dry and use leather dressing(or not) reccomended by Sparks. I had Milt make me up more than half a dozen rigs in 70s and 80s and they are just starting to break in on the things I didn't wear everyday for 20 years.
