Depends on what you mean by "breaking the bank"

Here might be a good place to start:

A better question is, what do you plan on doing with this rifle? Gonna shoot it like a match rifle in NRA highpower competition? Just a fun iron sighted plinker? Long range iron sight gun?

I would like to turn it into an NRA highpower match rifle.

tcrocker - the links I posted show some of the most common highpower match rifle sights. The first one works on flat tops.

You could also look at Lyman sights. If you wanted to reduce the price a little I think the sights on the DPMS race gun are a little cheaper... might want to check out the DPMS website for details.

I'd cruise down to a match in your area and ask around. Might find some sights for sale used, or good recommendations on what sight gets you the most bang for the buck. I shoot a service rifle, so I ain't got a clue on who's sight is good and who's isn't - all I know is that Warners are pretty much the gold standard that all rear sights are judged by, but they're out of your price range even without the inserts and irises and whatever else you've gotta bolt to a rear sight to make it work.
