Howdy
Anyone here know any good sites that sell the Butler Creek/Craig Spegel designed black nylon grips for the Ruger GP-100 models. I checked the Butler Creek homepage and the revolver grips pages did not come up. :cuss:
I'm not sure if Butler Creek still makes these Ruger GP-100 grips but I'd think an online dealer or catalog would still sell them.
Thanks;
RS :D

MidwayUSA does not carry the grips for the Ruger GP-100. I did find an online source for the Butler Creek grips. They run about $16.00. I just hope they are in stock and ready to ship. ;)

I went ahead and ordered the Ruger GP-100/Butler Creek grips that night. The order(and my credit card information) went through and was processed.
Today I found out that this $#&*ing company no longer sells this item and was "short handed" so many of the website products listed that are no longer sold have not be removed by the website. :cuss:
I chewed the customer service rep out and made sure my credit card was not charged.
I'm still looking for an online source for the Butler Creek revolver grips but I may go with another well known brand like Hogue or Ajax.
PLEASE NOTE: I'm not upset with Butler Creek just the morons who run this shooting supply website. I'll check my email and get the firm's name then post a warning here at THR.org .

These grips and others from Butler Creek/Uncle Mike's have been unavailable for quite awhile.
I'm not sure if they've been discontinued or if perhaps the company is out of business, but if anyone finds a reliable source for them, I'd be interested too.

Butler Creek was bought out by someone. I can't remember the name at this time.

I've always had great service from Gamaliel.
I looked around a bit yesterday and saw a post on another board that said Mr. Spegel couldn't reach a relicensing agreement with the maker.

P.S. - And how exactly did they burn you? Stuff happens. You act like they cheated you.

Butler Creek/ Uncle Mike's = Bushnell
I remembered finally! ;)

I looked over a set of rubber Hogue grips at a local shop. I think my hand shape may have changed because they felt great, :D . I think my hands got fatter, LOL.
I hope Bushnell makes these Spegel type revolver grips. I'm sure they'd sell a lot of em.
BTW: the company I dealt with could not track my order(even after they emailed a confirmation notice) and did not know if my Visa card information was processed :cuss: .
The young woman I talked to gave me some lame song and dance about a lack of tech support.
A web based business needs to keep stock of products and not sell items that they can't insure are ready to go.
