Soap May 5, 2003, 11:19 PM Words fail me... JShirley May 5, 2003, 11:27 PM OH MY. :what: hso May 5, 2003, 11:44 PM Ya know, that don't exactly look like a weapon to me. Matter of fact it looks like... Uh, never mind:uhoh: Bruz May 6, 2003, 12:10 AM Shoulda made them black... Elmer Snerd May 6, 2003, 12:30 AM I would not be surprised if that err... umm... thing is considered to be a blackjack in some states. edited to appease the Grammar Ninjas(there are no such things as Grammar Ninjas, they are a myth, move along...) JShirley May 6, 2003, 01:19 AM Ha! Or, something like that. :scrutiny: kannonfyre May 6, 2003, 04:33 AM :p I'm trying HARD not to laugh and spew coffee all over my laptop. Imagine this..... Thug whips out a romatron while I take my SWKW Howling Rat out of it's scabbard. Now I'm a third rate blade user but I'm pretty sure that I'd do significant damage to the thug before he effectively uses his romatron on me. In fact, I agree with hso. It look like something that might be sold in shops of.......er ill repute. brownie0486 May 6, 2003, 08:22 AM I'm not sure I want to carry something the maker lists as " Lead Ball on Flexible Steel Cable Makes Romatron a Deadly Defensive Weapon." They claim their product is a deadly weapon right up front. Shame cause now if yoyu were to use it to defend with, the DA would have a field day about your purchasing one knowing it was designed to be deadly. Jeeesh, you would think they could have a little forethought before advertising the thing as "deadly". And I think Elmer Snerd has hit upon something as well. Could be restricted as a blackjack or slap jack if you ever used it. Thats two strikes against the product before you have even used it. Brownie Bonker May 6, 2003, 12:26 PM By Texas law it is most certainly a slapjack/blackjack and would be illegal. I just liked that fact that it looks so...ummm..."adult" in nature :) Stickjockey May 8, 2003, 02:46 AM Elmer- We're not grammar ninjas; we're a hedge...:D Gordy Wesen May 22, 2003, 01:18 AM That reminds me about the advertisement for "the Fighting Bandana". I called the guy and said I wanted one. I didn't care about anything else except a bandana that would do it for me. He never sent it. Sir Galahad May 22, 2003, 10:15 PM They want $12 for that hunk o' bleep??? Geez, for that price, I'd take a Magnus broadhead, put it on about 3" of shaft, and put THAT on a keychain! Couldn't put the keys in your pocket again, but you can't with that Orgasmatron thingamajig either. Well, maybe some might put, er, never mind. kjeff50cal March 22, 2006, 07:25 PM Romatron It either wards off or attracts d0minatrix:evil: . Skofnung March 22, 2006, 11:05 PM :scrutiny: I think this chick I knew back in college had one of those... :what: Boom-stick March 23, 2006, 08:51 AM I think it may have been aimed at the female sector for....err.... ...Handbag carry?? But... if you did "pocket" it, you'd probably get some interest from the female sector as well:) tellner March 23, 2006, 08:40 PM Might as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb. If you're going to (illegally) carry a blackjack carry a good one :scrutiny: Skofnung March 23, 2006, 10:29 PM Might as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb. If you're going to (illegally) carry a blackjack carry a good one You could always argue that its a... well... uh...nevermind. Boom-stick March 24, 2006, 06:45 AM My wife's just asked if it really wiggles like it does in the picture?? hso March 24, 2006, 11:38 PM Now, now boys. This is The High Road and not the Back Road after all.:scrutiny: Medusa March 25, 2006, 12:17 AM Umm, this does look like a ..... ok let's forget that. I'd rather carry a flail on my keyring http://www.knightsedge.com/medieval-weapons/medieval-flail-2605.jpg Sunray March 25, 2006, 02:06 AM "...Powerful enough to disable a 300 lb. man..." That I'd like to see. carebear March 25, 2006, 03:48 PM I assume that disabling involves dropping it on him from a tall building. Elmer Snerd March 25, 2006, 05:57 PM Perhaps it is useful for the Super Secret "Escape While Your Assailant Is Laughing Uncontrollably" technique. Soap March 25, 2006, 08:57 PM Wow. Not only did the guy invent idiotic "weapons", he also has idiotic martial arts "techniques" on his website as well. loandr. March 25, 2006, 09:17 PM Keep it simple. Furniture Grade custom leather, Hand warpped spring shafts AND hand poured lead heads, lightest at 8 and heaviest at 16 OZ!!!. Holler if you need the source they are a steal for the Buck TRULY! BUT not legal to CCW in most states please remember. Loandr. Hans Esker August 2, 2008, 09:04 PM Just bringing it back up for you guys who did not see this first time around. I LOL'ed.
