THis is probably an obvious question, but I'm going to ask anyway. I like shooting Winchester's 50% reduced recoil shells in my 12 guage, but does it also reduce my range? Seems like it would. Thanks.

Yes, reduced recoil equals lower velocity equals reduced range and reduced power.
I have stopped using ANY reduced recoil shotgun ammunition for 'serious' defensive purposes after recent reports from the street. I am not at liberty to disclose details but given the source the information was sufficient to affect my choice of defensive shotgun ammunition.
Of course, YMMV. My own personal decisions should not be interpreted as an incentive for anyone else to make the same choices.

Do the reduce recoil shells really appear to you as to reduce the recoil by 50%? I've never tried them.

I have some heavy loads, and comparing those to the reduced recoil, it may be close to 50%. From regular loads, maybe closer to 25%. They make a 12 gauge feel like a 20 gauge. I probably won't use them for dove. They didn't seem to affect me for skeet shooting though.
