night vision add-on in front of scope

I'm looking for a night vision add-on that mounts on the rifle in front of the scope. I've seen them on sniper rifles and such military applications, but I can't find anybody that sells these things.

Well, there's this thingy, and a few others in the product line, though I can't say I've tried them, or that I fully understand them. It's designated AN/PVS-22 UNS (Universal Night Sight);
