I know it's been awhile and some may be wondering where I've been. Just wanted to let you know that Girlwithagun and I are doing good. A new son, a little bit more work, and preparing to move to PA have kept us all a little busy. Since we're getting ready to move pretty much all but a few defense guns have been secreted away and I'm going through a bit of withdrawl. So I need some suggestions, what can I do to help with the withdrawl!

Congrats on the family extension !

Fondle the heck out of what you got - not just the guns, and time will pass faster than you wanted it to when you reflect back. Then you also will have the joy of re-discovery ! ;)

Time and cash being what they are (or in my case, are not), I scrounged a bit and got myself one of those cheap spring-powered airsoft 1911's. Good for indoor target practice for when you can't get to the range.

Look on the bright side, pretty soon you'll be in one of the most gun friendly states in the country!! You'll be back up and carrying in no time.

Greeting's All-

On 16 September '06 the Shriners annual BBQ and giveaway will take
place in Irondale, AL; with 100 guns to be given away, including rifles,
handguns, and shotguns. Raffle tickets are $20 @, and entitle you to
the free lucheon and drawings. It is possible to WIN more than once,
as the winner's name is resubmitted for additional drawings. I bought
a chance, as did my daughter; and I sure hope we win~!

The Kimber Classic 84M (wood) in 7-08, Smith & Wesson model 21 in
.45ACP, Beretta 686 White Onyx 12 ga, Benelli SBE II Blk/Syn with
Comfortech, Remington model 700 Varmint/Lam Stock in .204 Ruger,
Browing Citori White Lightning O/U in 12 ga, Weatherby MK-V Varmint
Mater in .223 Remignton would all be a welcomed addition.

There IS NOT a bad weapon on the list. Probably the least expensive
firearms on the list would be: NAA .22 mag "mini" revolver, a .410 ga
Snake Chamber, or a Kel-Tec P3AT.

Edit to add: Moderators please move to the appropriate spot on the
forums, as I made a mistake. Thanks in advance~!

anapex,

Glad to see that things are going well, if not busy. We need to make sure to get together for at least a drink before you pull up roots and move to the United States.

Glad to hear all is well with you two, and congrats on the arrival of the (future) new shooter.

Also glad to hear you'll soon be relocating to the U. S. of A. :D

Where abouts are you moving to? We'll likely be (sort of) neighbors. At any rate - welcome to PA!

I love it here!

Welcome to PA. Lots of gunnies up here. Although we are getting rumblings of tighter gun sales. Rendell and his cronnies want to make one handgun a month a reality here. Hopefully we got enough regular folk to keep that at bay. So we need you here. Howdy from the Scranton area.
