Hi everybody. Is there some way to lighten a P3AT's trigger?? Mine isnt super heavy, but its just too heavy for me:barf: . I have a tendancy to pull the gun to the right because of the high trigger weight. I've combed the 'net looking for a way, but havn't found any info. I am confidant that with a lighter trigger, i could accurately fire this gun at 25yds. (Accurate meaning minute of large Costco box). Also here is a pic with my new Nemesis holster. BTW, i find that the nemesis isnt nearly as "sticky" as Desantis says. It's more like rubber than "fly paper".

Try using both hands and both index fingers.

I have found that over time, the trigger pull on a Kel Tec grows smoother through use. This because Kel Tec doesn't really polish the trigger bar ( see parts list in gun manual; part 260 on my P-32. Right side of frame, part that moves when you pull the trigger) to a smooth surface. You either get it smoother- and thus reduce the friction- through shooting it with live rounds or by using a snap cap and dry firing. If you are mechanically inclined you can detail strip the gun and polish the bar yourself. ( Just don't remove ANY metal.)

You can also use a dry lubricant like graphite applied to the top of the trigger bar and allowed to work into the frame after you have worked it smooth. That will reduce the friction even more.

Shooting it also builds up your finger strength which will be a big help. Pulling to the right may be a sign of using too much trigger finger. As your fingers grow stronger, you can go to using less finger, using just the tip of your finger rather than the first joint. Also, make sure that you are moving only your trigger finger, not tightening your whole hand as you pull the trigger.

Hope this helps- conwic
