Seems like my ad got deleted???????????????

Accessories...for the most part anyway......

Are not state specific...in that, other than magazines, there are virtually no laws to be observed.

So what is the big deal about state of origin?

I only ask because ...to be truthful I have listed A LOT of guns on this site (and others)and only just got an ad deleted this first time..in many...many years

After I made the sale...as it turns out:) ..so no big deal

Because it NEVER occured to me why it mattered where my aimpoint mount came from:confused:

My bad...could have read the rules...but I have actually been around since before that particular rule...so...well...I missed it

My fault....my problem...no doubt...well actually...no problem;)

( I also missed any little note like Hey...longtime member...forgot your state)

You know...the one in your profile

As I said..your site...just curious...seeems like a one rule fits all kind of thing

Hi Obi,

It is less to do with what is legal and where - but more a courtesy thing we decided some while ago to help those browsing - particularly when wanting stuff in their own state. Maybe to get an ftf deal or pick up stuff.

As it was made policy - with a sticky reminder at top of each buy and sell forum - it is implemented pretty much across the board. Trouble is, if there are two or three ''sans location'' they get dumped without necessarily seeing who posted.

I have occasionally and one or two other mods too - added a state as a gesture to long time members - but even so - with all that needs checked out, it is easy to miss some of those. :)

The mods have added my state to an ad of mine once, guess I got a little grace. Anyway Obiwan your item sold and fairly fast at that:) lucky buyer;)
