Just was in Wal-Mart with a Buddy the other day. He needed to pick up some broadheads and shotgun sheels for Archery Hunting and bird hunting and some super glue. We went through the Self Check out. The check out machine let him purchase the Broadheads and shells, but he had to get a Cashier's approval to purchase the Super Glue.

Strange Store. You can purchase Razor Blades free and clear and shells, but Super Glue you need approval?

I don't understand. It makes me feel safe though. :what: :uhoh:

It wasn't the glue itself; it was the combination.

Anyone buying shotgun shells, broadheads and super glue all at once must be up to no good.

Tell your buddy to expect a visit fom Homeland Security any day now. :p

Maybe it's on the "don't sell this to kids; they like to get high off the fumes" list?

Keep a stiff upper lip: sniff glue!

Nah, it's not the super glue itself, it's the plastic container.(:banghead: (Very toxic)

Yup, it's the glue sniffers they're after. Hey...just what WERE you going to do with that glue?

WalMart has a bunch of funny rules they make themselves. My story was a little different.

I was picking up some ammor prior to a course my GF and I were taking, paid for it in sporting goods and on the way out decided to get some more lithium AA batteries for the "Care" package we were sending to Afghanistan for a medic stationed there.

One pack of AAs OK, 2 packs of AAs OK, 3 packs of AAs the register flashed no sale and a clerk came over. Told me could not buy 3 packs of Lithium AAs. I asked "Why" neither she nor the next 3 employees included Asst Store Manager could tell me why just "NO"

I said fine I'll buy two but just to show you how stupid your rule is please look at my receipt and what is in my cart. $150.00 worth of .45,9, .38, and .223:what: So as I told the manager "it's ok to sell me $150.00 of ammo but not 3 packs of AAs"

Found out later the reason for their rule is corporate policy because the idiots who make crystal meth can use the Lithium battery paste as one of the ingrediants to make crystal meth. Guys if they are willing to swallow/snort/smoke/inject battery paste you are not fgoing to stop them.:banghead:
