anybody got aline on a PPks .380? I decided I need one. I want a blue one and not a new one. Older is bettter. But I dont want to spend apremium on a ww-2 model or collectors piece.

I would suggest you shoot one before you buy. The Interarms walther PPKs's were hit and miss on reliability, but were finished nicely.

Even if I bothered to get my old PPK running reliably, the thing bled out the web of my hand everytime I shot it (and I've got small hands).

It was extremely accurate for such a small gun, though.

Your statement about "older is better" is not quite true. The Smith "Maine guns" are better than the original in many respects!!

I have a Smith PPK/S and I have none of the "problems" associated with the older models.

No jams with Walther bannered mags, it does not like aftermarket.

No slide bite.

No hammer bite.

The trigger is still very heavy, in the range of 20lbs!!! :what: But that just provides a aerobic workout for my trigger finger!! :D

The sights are easier to see than my vintage 1950 PP!!! ;)
