Leupold Golden Ring binoculars, how do they rate?

I picked up a pair of Leupold Golden Ring binoculars (10x42) from SWFAs Sample List at a discount. I was told that they were comparable to Zeiss and Swarovski. While I find that hard to believe, the price was to good to pass up.
While researchig them I found some info on the birdwatching forums where they got very favorable reviews.
Anyone have experience with them?
Thanks in advance,
Ed

Ed,
You know alot about these things already as evidenced by the good advice you've given me on at least a couple of occassions. So I'm considering yours a rhetorical question of sorts, coming from a man who just wants or needs a little affirmation that he made the right choice in purchasing a pair of binos that aren't celebrated to the same extent as some of the high-end European makes (e.g. Leica or Swarovski).
Ergo, I would like to offer you this: The Leupold Golden Ring binos are all you'll ever need, unless you're glassing for elk in rainy weather at dawn or dusk and at distances over a half-mile. Indeed, its only then everything else can't do what Leica's or Swarovski's can! And how often are you gonna find yourself in the forementioned scenario?!?
Incidentally, my dad owns a pair of those Leupold Golden Ring binos and I have looked through them. They're just like almost everything else that comes out of Leupold's Oregon factory: very, very fine!

SR,
Knowing Leupold glass, I know I bought a good product. What makes me even happier, is the warranty and exceptional customer service that accompanies it.
What I was looking for was real-world experience and possibly some comparisons between Leupold and the high-end stuff.

That's what I was looking for! ;)

BTW, Thanks for the compliment and I'm glad my advice was helpful to you in your endeavors.
