How's it run? And not to be rude, but how much?
I ask since I'm looking hard at an Arsenal myself, they seem to be the best out there not.

^^ likewise. Maybe I dopn't get out much, but I've never seen a finish that nice, with furniture that nice on the same rifle....

Does the stock wobble even a millimeter in the open position, or has Arsenal
outdone themselves again?
Yes, how much $$$?

That is a beautiful AK. The smooth blonde wood against that stark black finish is quite striking.
What kind of finish is that BTW? Is it parkerized? It almost looks GunKoted.
Is that wood maple?

That rifle is too pretty to shoot. I would make it a safe queen. :)

Arsenal? Milled? These are a few of my favorite things.

Thanks guys
It was $1200 + tax, it has a chrome lined barrel and the finish is a phosphate then covered with baked on black enamel, the stock is as solid as a rock open or closed.
This is my first underfolder, I personally like the way my sidefolder feels when shouldered a little better than the underfolder but the feel is starting to grow on me, I love the way the underfolders look and I needed one to round out my AK collection.
You may need to hit refresh to see the updated pic but here's a new AK / Arsenal family pic

LOL, either you have too much money (and/or are single) or your kids are
starving right now....

$1200 for an AK seems steep. I don't know much about them What makes that one worth that much?

Milled parts, steyr hammer forged barrel, quality control that would throw
every romak into the ocean.
My fixed stock Arsenal will do 1" groups --even with a Russian scope.
How much do you think an AR15 would run if it was milled, the barrel
were made on a steyr machine, and the collapsable stock was also made
out of metal that didn't wobble? I forgot to add the wood furniture.....

I've got an Arsenal SA M-7 S that I bought used but in like-new condition (not a scratch on it) for $395 a couple of years ago. I still count it as the absolute, hands-down best firearms purchase ever! It's accurate, fun to shoot, reliable (of course!), cool looking, you name it.
The blond wood on the classic series M-7's is beautiful. I'd like one of those, too, but I don't have the $$ right now. Sigh....

Thin Black Line,
Good comments. I'm curious - Do the Arsenal Inc. under-folder stocks never develop the wobble? I know most other brands do, but if they have that fixed, that's superb.
Thanks.

I have a straight stock Arsenal model so I don't know. I would think this
has a lot to do with the fit of the trunion and tolerance of the pins that
click in when it's extended. The Jugos I've picked up run from surplus
acceptable wobble to trampoline wiggle which makes a perfect cheekweld
altogether useless.
However, I would be glad to put an Arsenal underfolder under a truly
adverse longterm torture test should a THR member be inclined to
donate one to me. :D
