...hunting laws concerning coyotes in Cali? Just today I saw a sign reminding appartment residents to keep their pets indoors at all times as there was a chance of coyote attack. Now, the appartment wasn't exactly in the middle of the city, but it wasn't exactly in the middle of nowhere either. I would immagine that they wouldn't have any problems with coyotes since they were pretty close to a city; that is if the coyote population didn't happen to be larger then it should be...

I live in a housing track that is in a similar area...not in the middle of nowhere, but close to the hills. There isn't much you can do about the song dogs if you are within city limits except constantly complain to animal control, public officials, or the cops. If you are just outside the city limits, shoot the dogs, just make sure you are not too close to any dwelling.
