:banghead: Is there any good place for me to hunt ducks(cimminon teal) in southeren Ca. I have just moved here and will be leaving in May. I do not have the time I had back in Iowa. Iam looking for somewhere I can take my daughter and shipmates to. I have several pepole that have never hunted asking me to take them and teach them the in's and out's of hunting and gun safety. Any help would be much appericated. :)

Thanks

Try Rahauge's range in Norco. I've shot clays out there a number of times. The link is below.

I have shot ducks on the Salton Sea, and on the Colorado River.

I had a friend in Norco who had rented land on the Santa Ana River, the goose hunting in the fields was outstanding, the duck hunting on the river was OK.

Used to hunt ducks in Newport Bay  as a kid, I wouldnt recomend it now;)

I was too originally. Greatest duck hunting in the world on the Mississippi backwaters around Lansing. Also used to just them on a stretch of the Wapsie near New Hampton. A friend had a farm and used to flood his field every fall for the ducks.
