Buying a Firearm

I just got my firearm permit today and was wondering. If I wanted to go to a gun shop and wanted to buy a gun, and showed them my GA firearm permit. Would they waive that fee that you usually get when you buy a gun. And I am also assuming that the background check is waived.

Not being from Georgia, I'm not sure what fee you are referring to, but your Georgia Firearms License exempts you from the NICS check.
