I think this is the correct place to post this. I disclaim I am still new to handgun shooting. I regularly shoot B25 targets and was just wondering how much the head/body silhouette is reduced from a "normal sized" person? Like if I am shooting it at 25 yards, would the silhouette represent a person at 50 yards? How does this work?

I always thought the B25 was a a bit wider in the body area that most folks. The B25 is the standard police target in many states for training. The main idea of the B25 is to fire center mass that is why the head shot is a lower score than the center chest. There are several good targets available for about the same price. I like the FBI targets. Many of the photo targets are smaller than normal most of these show a B&W photo of a perp holding guns, a drill, a baby, or a badge.
For a challenge fold a B25 in half or just expose the head or lean the target to one side. Remember to pratice safe.
