Name guns with some monetary value, but....

Condition and model can greatly affect market pricing. And collectors want rare stuff in high grades.

Need more info to give a good estimate....

There was an appraisal in American Rifleman for a Rottweil shotgun a few months back...

As I recall it was worth around $250 with each extra barrel being worth $100.

I'll dig around tonight and see if I can find it; let ya know tomorrow.;)

It was actually in the September 2004 issue of G&A.

"I recently purchased a used 12 gauge Dynamit Nobel Rottweil 67G autoloading shotgun, serial number DN 008XX. It's got a vent rib, improved cylinder barrel; 24 inch iron sighted slug barrel; and vent rib skeet barrel. All appear to have been used very little and are in excellent condition. All three barrels are factory matched. Can you give me any history on this gun, as well as an estimate on it's value? I paid $350 for it"

"Your Rottweil is not listed in any factory information. Howeever, it;s not going to be that much of a collectible, and it's "shooting value" must be factored against the possibility that, if a part breaks, you might no be able to get another one. Assuming excellent original condition, I would put the value at approximately $250, with $100 for each additional barrel."

Hope that helps!:D
