I have been looking at a couple of ML . CVA Optima and the CVA Wolf 50 cal . I like the break open actions . I also like the price of the two . Any opinions .:banghead:

IMHO you should buy the Optma Pro version with the 29" fluted barrel
probably in nickle and black. then you should put a nice scope on it, say
a Simmons 4-12x 44 mag. w/ A.O. This set up would be really good for those
long range shots like from the edge of a corn or bean field. But just in case
you might do any brush hunting you may want to get an extra 26" barrel and
outfit it with a Bushnell 1.5-4x Banner scope and see through mounts.
Oh, and you might want to consider buying it gently pre-owned so that you can save a few bucks to order one of those new fangled 12 gauge barrels from cva that will fit right on it. I would guess you could probably pick a
package like that up for about $350.00 and it might look somthing like this...
