In the last few months someone posted the formula's for calculating the ultimate distance shot would travel based on velocity, shot size, etc. I have not been able to find that particular post using the search:banghead: . Anyone remember who it was and where it is?

Oldnamvet,
Well phooey! I "thought" I had it bookmarked, but did not. I have done a few quick searches and drawn a blank too.

Was it this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=39151)? esheato uses the following formula to calculate maximum range:
2,200 * (shot diameter) = range in yards
For example:
2,200 * .095 (7 1/2 shot)= 209 yards
2,200 * .080 (9 shot)= 176 yards

Thank you! I was looking for that all over. There is nothing on-line that I could find either. I had thought it would be more complicated but I guess for an approximation, velocity differences of 100 fps don't really matter.
Steve - thanks for looking. I appreciate it.
