Saturday August 26th, 2006 I was strolling through a gun show in Indianapolis as I occassionally (:D) do. I spied with my badger eye a very odd/unique weapon that I had not clapped eyes on before this date.
It was purportedly a "Rau Wildcat .22". A single shot .22 which broke in half to load but used a slide to eject the empty.
The dealer said he know nothing about it but paid someone $300 just because he had never seen such a beast.
Anyone here in THRland know anything about this weapon???

The email section startin gabout mid-page refers to Wildcats being made by Rau. Someone mentions them going new for about $300 back when they were made. Definetly an oddball.

I'm always willing to learn something new myself, and that thing is definetly new to me. The real question though is did you buy the thing or not?

No, dealer wanted $300 and I had no idea what it was. I've purchased pigs in pokes before, but I like to think that I've learned a lesson or two in doing so.:D
