asking price was around $1900... precussion fired in a fitted case, looked to be a .577

Single barrel , double, four barrel , photo ? They are interesting but if you got one you'd only have to buy an elephant to go with it !!!

I've read articles and seen pictures but never a real one. I love old guns like that but not enough money to ever own one (sigh).

English make, double barrel percussion (1850-60?) .577 or so looked in great shape...

I wonder why they don't make these anymore. I'd love to have a less expensive modern production one. As BP muzzleloaders they're not violating any laws I know of.

reminds me of when my great grandmother came to live with us when i was in h.s., she owned several pistols but the centerpiece was the ITHACA AUTO BURGLAR she had in a pillow case ! Can't imagine what its worth now, someone in the family has it and it sure isn't me..........
