Are the magazine tube springs the same length for both the 5 and 7 shot tubes?

On my Nova, the 2+ extension came with a longer spring. I would venture to guess this would be true for the M1 series as well.

I believe the answer is no. My M1S90 came with the 7 round mag and the spring was VERY tight initially. I doubt you could fit that spring into a 5 round mag.

My 4rd magtube came with a longer spring than the 2rd magtube.
