Just out of curiousity, I wanted to see the difference between a couple of stiff .357 loads.

The first is a 170gr FMJ moving around 1300fps or so.

Note the complete penetration ;-).

Then 125gr HP moving at a decent pace of 1700fps or so.

Of course the inclusion of a heavier plastic jug (the red one is from drain cleaner) may have made a difference..but who cares. Just did this for fun anyhow.

Can piglets be substituted for cats?

I happen to know for a fact that a 180 grain commercially produced round from a .300 Savage will penetrate 3 suckling pigs and draw blood on the forth.
