well i just joined this great forum last week and wanted to post my first kimber grand raptor 2 i purchased today, although i wanted this gun since june i couldnt wait any longer:D next on the list is a ar-15.

You started off correctly by posting pictures of your new weapon, it is customary to follow up with a range report asap!

Good choice on the raptor. If I were to get something with a crazy looking checkering alternative it would either be that or an ed brown kobra.

The Kimber Raptor is such a pretty gun, it's on my wish list for Santa to bring ;)

I love the duo-tone with the brown grips - a very classy shooter. I've come to love the brand, I've just come into my 2nd Kimber (a Custom TLE RL II with Night Sights and an X-200, the perfect home defense gun for me right now). My first was an Eclipse Custom II. Let us know how yours performs!

thanks guys i actually had plans to buy one in january with tax cash but i found one at my local dealer for such low price , i couldnt pass it up. 2 other main kimber dealer said once they sell the grand raptor that the price will jump up. so im happy i happen to stop by last week:D
