What would be the problem with doing it? I shoot both my P-01 and SP-01 with thumbs high, no problems doing so.

I think he's worried about engaging the decocker?

You have to be a little concious of how hard you push down with the thumbs. You certainly can't lay on it hard like you can with a 1911 or a non-decocker CZ, but you can do it. High thumbs is the only way to shoot......

No problem at all. If you go to the IDPA National Championship next month you'll see me shooting my BD thumbs high.

I think he's worried about engaging the decocker?Yes. :o
I'm just learning to shoot high-thumb, and I find that right now I bear down pretty hard on the safety of the CZs or 1911s that I have. I'm contemplating a decocker version of the CZ75 and was worried that I'd inadvertently decock the pistol in use....
Thanks, all. I'm just learning a bunch of new tricks and this is one of 'em. One day, I might actually know how to shoot these bloody things. :)
