Can't quit smiling

Had a nasty night at work, so of course I simply must go to the range today. Just me, my new Savage Striker, and a Brick and a half of ammo. That's enough to chase the blues away. Last target I shoot at, 5 shots at 50 yrds using my old back pack as a rest, cheapo Chinese 2X scope, even cheaper CCI Blazer ammo, sun in my eyes, gnats buzzing in my ears, and I end up with this. Wish I had only fired the 3 shots.

On a totally different and OT subject, those of you who are lucky enough to have little ones, get a car seat, make sure it's installed correctly, and make the youngin's stay in it. That's not Big Brother trying to tell you how to live your life, it's just common sense. If you don't, it very possible that myself, or someone quite like me, will have to wrap your child up in a big white Hefty bag. And quite frankly, I have enough bad dreams as it is.

But on with the photo...

My youngin's just won't stay in the seat no matter what I do ...

... course, they are almost 17 now. :neener:

But I know where a .17 is staying, and I get a bonus check in a few weeks. I know I'm definately getting a good pistol rest and a better scope. Can't go shooting this weekend, The Wife has requested my company at the in-laws, but I'm in the middle of 5 days off so Monday I'm off to make big noise with the Mosins. You poor 9-5 m-f working stiffs. I'll be thinking about you.:neener:
