Buddy of mine has an old Sears and Roebuck Ted Williams Model 34 .22 Semi Auto. Fires 22short, long, lr. Located history (high standard) and parts manual (on web), but nowhere can we find out how many rounds the magazine holds? Heres the model 34# 583.3403 . Recently took to a gun smith for cleaning, and he wasnt sure how many rounds it holds. Anyone have the specifics of how many rounds should go in the magazine tube?

maybe if you loaded the gun to full capacity with the shorts, longs and LRifle, that would tell you. Just Couldn't resist that. I don't have the foggiest.

I can't think of a better way than just to try it.

Remove the inner magazine tube, drop in 15 LRs and see if you can put the inner tube back in. If you can, drop in cartridges until you can't. Count how many will fit, then do the same with .22 Shorts.

You won't be able to check with .22 Long, because they don't make them any more.
