I bought a Ruger SRH 44 9.5in for hunting a couple months back and have been shooting every weekend so I will been good enough to hunt Hog. I live in South East Texas where I will be hunting at. All the shooting I have done to date has been from a bench or standing. Bought a set of shooting sticks to help handle the sheer weight of this hand gun. I thought it would be easier to shoot from. There must be a trick to it. Because at 50 yards I was all over the place. Any suggestion on how to shoot with shooting sticks?

You will have to distribute some of your weight to the sticks. Try a kneeling or sitting position.
