[Doublet]

Would like to know what year this Marlin 39 .22cal Lever Action was made . Serial # Y 1067 . Any help would be helpfull . Also did Marlin put any Model 39 out in Nickle years ago ?

Made in 1964. Marlin made some presentation Models in the 1960s that had a chrome plated barrel and receiver. Marlins 90th Anniversary Model 39. New in box 1.200. not new in box, then it's just a nice looking shooter. I believe a 1,000 were made in both rifle and carbine.
