Looks like a middle east dagger , I think they call them "Jambiya" Anywhere from Turkey to Morroco in origin - as much as I think I know .
Are there any non-decorative markings at all on the scabbard or blade ?

Seems to be an older Khukuris style knife.

Definately not a Kukhri. not sure if it's worth much, looks slightly like a piece made for tourists. but definately check on bladeforums.

Arabic dagger. Most photographs of T.E. Lawrence shows him with a very similar knife. The Royal Ontario Museum's gift shop in TO sells or did sell them for $200Cdn.

It's a Jambiya.
I can't tell, but is the color silver or brass?
Would you be willing to heat a needle until it's red hot and put the tip on one of the red or green stones and let us know of it smokes. Do it near the base where it won't leave a obvious mark.

It is silver. As far as the neddle to the red or green stones, I am willing to do that, but is it just to see if they are stones or plastic? Does that mean anything about this knife?
Thanks for the info
