I just got these from Brownells. The hammer springs are 12, 10 and 9 (factory are apparently 14) pounds; there are trigger return springs too. Can I get buy with replacing only the hammer springs? What weight would you suggest?

Is it a difficult task to replace?

Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem. I believe I went with the 10lb spring in mine. I did experience some light strikes when using CCI primers but have had no problems with Win. primers. Haven't used any factory ammo.
Replacing either spring is no big deal, e-mail or PM me for more details if you would like.

Put the 9lb spring in my SP 101. Improved the trigger pull a hundred fold.
Haven't had any light strikes or failure to fire with factory Winchester or PMC stuff.

I used the 9# hammer spring in my 101 and got light strikes on CCI primers, so backed off to 10# and have had no problem. I also changed the trigger return spring and have had no problem with that. My GP is still factory. Ihave been shooting it quite abit and it is getting much smoother and I am getting used to the pull, but I prefer the trigger on my 101.
