Just handled the prototype for the new Emerson CQC 14 Snubnose. What a great knife! It should be a THR member was the inspiration for it.
Long handle with a 2.5" blade. Should sell like hotcakes.:)

Same blade/handle shape/material but with a slipjoint instead of a lock.

Talk to Mr Emerson and see if he is interested in competing with the Spyderco UK Penknife.
If he is then they might produce a non locking version.
As a company they are at least aware of some of the more restrictive knife laws around the world and have catered for some of them in the past with their shorter bladed designs.
It might be worth an email.
