I have a Winchester 1300 barrel (18" smooth bore) that had a broken sight. I removed what was left of it and would like to replace it. Does anyone know what size the threads are or know how I could find out?

You could call Brownell's.
Not only do they sell new beads, the tech people will know what size threads.

You dont really need a sight if your used to the gun.
But any gunsmith could do it for you, I have a freind that deals guns and he can do it at home, he would knw probably and i think all the threads are about the same

I just installed a Hi-Viz sight on one of my shotgun barrels today. The literature that came with it said that a 3-56" is common for Winchesters. If you're interested in the fiber optic type sight, the Hi-Viz I put on came with several different size mounting screws so it was just a matter of picking the right one.
