Folks that are into C&R would you be so kind to post :
1. That you are into C&R
2 Any Sites you recommend other than THR for C&R information.
I admit I am dumb as a brick about C&R.
Some folks are interested on meeting other C&R folks, so they can run a search using usernames here on THR, and TFL.
Also, we may have a Sister Site that I should know about, and don't or another quality site these persons could use to find information and perhaps you use for a resource.
Thanks,
Steve

THR needs a C&R forum badly. Til then, use the search function. C&R questions get repeated almost daily.

1) I'm into it, but I'm don't have nearly as bad a case of milsurpitis as others.
2) Probably the best site out there for general information is www.surplusrifle.com. Their forums have specific fora for specific guns, and you will also likely find other dedicated websites for specific guns as well. Surplusrifle.com is a great site for general info on getting into the C&R world, and I very highly recommend it.

Well, this is the rifle forum but so far I have only bought handguns with my C&R.
These (http://www.fototime.com/448145A6BE71140/standard.jpg) were purchased during the first three months or so.

I have bought over a dozen guns, both rifles and pistols, with my trusy C&R. Here's a good starting point:

"C&R" as a label doesn't really apply to the situation in Europe - but of course there are many of us who collect older firearms.
In the context of this thread though I would have to say that I'm into "C&R" as one of my firearms interests is collecting firearms that would, in the US, be C&R (I'm also involved with action shooting sports and bullseye target competion).

The true dyed-in-the wool C& R fanatics tend to be on gunboards.com .Once you become one,you will lose weight, from skipping lunch to buy two Mosins a month. The UPS guy will hate you for having heavy 60 year old ammo delivered twice a week. You will have to build an addition on your house to store your collection.Soon, you will have sufficient rifles to equip a company of WWII infantry. And want more.Aim Surplus has .308 Enfields right now for $ 169.00,can you believe that?

Although I have a C&R, I use it mainly for the price discounts. I had never purchased a C&R gun with my license as I prefer to see and examine what I buy first. I had bought C&R eligible guns over the counter while I had my previous C&R, just never used it specifically to buy one (that is, I didn't need a C&R to buy the guns).

I started as a C&R guy and then got my 01. I used to hang out on this board:

Lots of good C&R stuff as well as SKS info.
