FN 5.7 x 28 Help please

I hear that the US Secret Service is now using as a duty weapon and large qty sale sto off duty LEO's -------I read that the civilian ammo although hi speed and small are a devastating personal defense round ---But-a lot of guys say just a 22 -------------anyone ???

original SS190 ammo is a really hard hitting, cannot comment on other cartridges, as I I have only SS190/192 ammo. But I'd say I wouldn't want to be shot by SS195 or any other, supposedly they're OK.

I own and shoot the pistol and I can honestly say I haven't made up my mind about it as a good defense pistol, but I do know one thing, I'm positive that a couple of these 5.7 bullets in my chest will put me down.

They're using the 5.7 in the Secret Service? I know they were using the P90, not the 5.7 pistol...
You have a low recoil, very high capacity autoloading pistol with a spitzer round that tumbles upon hitting flesh. It's made so it doesn't overpenetrate, usually staying in the body. The caliber is .22, but the tumbling bullet is designed to make that less of a concern.
