Has anyone here ever been to this event???

I was there in '95, it was really great. Paul had 15 events over a 2 1/2 day period plus numerous side matches for .22s', shotguns, etc. I think that I met someone from almost every state in the union. Met Jim Wall from Milt Sparks Leather, also S&W shooting team. Had people in my squad from Arizona, a Seal from Tennessee, 1 from Washington. I think that I burned up around 400 rounds (I missed a lot) and shot in .22 rifle and semi auto shotgun events. I flew, and had a big hassle from the airlines about the ammunition. 11 lb limit, 250 rounds of .45 weighed 12 lbs. Would love to go again, but will not fly. It's about a 20 hour drive, so I won't try to make it by myself. Oh, almost forgot, had a joke played on me by Team Nowlin that had to do with a porta-potty. Don't anyone think that this is strictly a speed match. In my opinion, accuracy has more to do with it. Would recommed it to anyone.

This event is about 15 miles from Valhalla. In fact, I am going to be running all of our carbine and precision rifle/sniper courses primarily on their ranges. We sponsor a meal during this weeklong event every year and will be holding a special side-match at our indoor scenario house one evening.
We are glad to be associated with the event and look forward to seeing some of you and getting you up to Valhalla!
