Hey everybody...
Stumbled upon this auction on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6632287569&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Basically, 2 fixed blade CRKT falcons (1 standard/1 partially serrated) for sale. 6" overall, 2 3/8" blades with nice polycarbonate sheaths for neck or belt carry. full tang, etc.
asking $31.50
I've been very impressed w/ the CRKT M-16 zytel i have.
Any thoughts/impressions on these? Figured one for the BOB and one for the car.
thanks in advance.

Nice little knives that feel good in the hand.

I have been tempted by these little guys, too. Look around, I have seen them online for between $14 and $16. Two examples (I have no idea about the first, but have had nothing but good luck with the second):

They look like good soldier's knives, if their sheath locks in securely. Cheap, light, small.

That ebay price isn't bad, but not all that great either. Especially if you don't want one plain and one partially serrated.
I've had good luck with CRKT knives, and I'm sure the Falcon would be well made.
You might want to look at some of the other CRKT fixed blades -- the Kit Carson F4 and the Sidehawg 2 look good to me. Cheap too.........

I have a Falcon and a F4----the Falcon is definitely the nicer of the 2----the Falcon is a decent knife---the F4 is just Chinese junk.
The Falcon was purchased in person---the F4 was bought online.
