It seems I over tightened a nipple, the threads are stripped. Now what? I only shoot at the range, so I would like to use all six shots. Maybe Teflon tape? Thanks Dominic...

A 'smith should be able to drill and tap the hole for an oversize thread nipple. I'm not sure teflon tape would do you any favors with pressure behind it.

You didn`t say what make .. but on most Itilian models it would be cheaper to replace the whole cylinder than take it to a gun smith and have it repaired . any fix other than tapping it out to a larger size hole would be a no no ;. don`t do it .. i`ve for one had a nipple come unlodged when fired and beleive me its worse than a chain fire ... you don`t want to take chances like that with your eyes and face .. most cylinders sell for less than 50 bucks ... and you can always use the old cylinder for a 5 shot safely .

I had the same thing happen to me. I took it to a gun smith to get retapped. Hopefully it wont cost too much since a new cyclinder at Cabela's is only $35.
I'll find out tonight when I go pick it up after work.
