The Colt Trooper .357 manufactured in 1968 is what frame? I need to get grips for it but I've got to know where to start. Thanks to all who helped me ID it earlier.

Vic:

The old 1968 Trooper .357 frame is the same frame as a Colt Python, Officer's Model Target revolvers, Official Police-so, grips from any of these Colt's will fit your this Trooper. The later Model Trooper Mark III won't fit these older Troopers!

I was getting that drift on the python grips by checking around but I like to be 100% sure before I buy. Also, there are the most knowlegable people here and polite as well as helpful. Thanks "Slick6", I appreciate the info. THE HUNT IS ON!:D
