Wolf is making a 75 gr HPBT .223 they say will work in a 1:9 inch twist barrel.
How would this compare to a 7,62x39 round or .30-30?

They are using the Black Hills load to good effect in the sandbox. I would like to try it out, but the only place local that has it is Cabelas, and they keep selling out.

Depends on what you mean by "work" in a 1:9 barrel. In my older 16" 1/9 HBAR, the Black Hills 75gr Match would shoot about 4-5" at 100yds. Considering that this is about the same accuracy that current production Wolf provides, it probably is comparable to the regular Wolf ammo accuracy-wise.
Usually 1/9 is a bit of a lottery, some 1/9 barrels will shoot 75gr well and some won't. You just have to try it and see.

IMHO, any thing heavier than 69gr needs a 1:8" twist or faster to shoot to its full potential. Work? yes, it will work. But a faster twist would be optimal.
