I went to mom n' dads for the weekend. My brother and I, along with a couple of his in-laws, had a little range time. It was 1911 day and I brought my USPc.
Phil's in-law, John, brought along his latest acquisition, a 9mm FB Radom VIS Model 35...

The decocker is broken, but other than that, it was a great pistol and handled well.
A happy Colt family:

A squib, stuck in the barrel of one of the 1911's. Luckily, it was discovered before another round was fired through it!

A shot of the culprit: (It was a reload.)

Can someone tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Radoms are cool...the world's last cavalry pistol. That one looks like a great specimen.
Can someone tell me what's wrong with this picture?
He's wearing Glock apparel and shooting a 1911. Glock and 1911 shooters seem to be the cats and mice of the gun world...it's a rare and wise person who can appreciate both for their virtues.

Pretty pretty guns. So quit it. Gota fight the urge to buy a 1911 sooner than later....so quit it ;)
for a second i thought that last pic was a gun with no trigger guard...havent seen someone have a death grip like that with a finger on the guard in a while :D

Oh no! Temptation pics!
I was already having trouble deciding if I want to get another 1911 or another Glock first. Now I am leaning back towards the 1911 area...
Wouldn't it be great if politics was like that? The 1911 Party vs. the Glock party?

Radom, great pistol, one of the best pointing pistols in my experience. Yours is a very early German one as indicated by the stock slot, guessing that it has a low serial #. Was the gun refinished?

That Radom hammer drop spring is broken, missing, or just out of its groove. I can't find one off hand, but they are easily made from spring wire.
To see what one looks like, check:

It is Part Nr. 14, but they don't have it either.

Runt, the Asian guy (your brother?) has the gold (or titanium nitride?) glasses, bracelet and ring, but not the gold watch, doesn't have the long pinky nail, and only one handgun? :D

It looks like he's earing a pair of electronic muffs backwards, but I'm not sure if its just a leaf or the black fuzzy microphone cover.
And his choice in clothing displays the wrong century for when it was designed.

That thingamabob on the frame that looks like a thumb safety... Fooled me! It's actually a catch for stripping the pistol.
A gun needs a good home!

1) Glock T-Shirt while shooting 1911.
2) Putting weak hand index finger on front of triggerguard isn't the best form.
