Went to III last year. Just missed the big mishap when I pulled in. Apparently there was an exploding target down range and it had propelled a metal object, a small extinguisher IIRC, into that air when it exploded. The object fell on someone's new SUV (Explorer, IIRC) and damaged the roof. Other than that, ALOTTA good stuff to see. Although there was a Minigun there, my fave was the MG-42. Parking is a bit tight.

If you Map Quest the address, 6052 Arrow Road, Minerva, OH, it's mich easier to understand visually.

As I frequent relatively near that area, I didn't need to use the campgrounds. It looked like some of the shooters who stayed over night(s) put up their tents on the firing line, which is pretty long. From what I understand, you can camp at the site for fee.

Wish I could make it, but it's about 600 or so miles for me - Sorta not a quick weekend trip.

Last two weeks we went to the Black Rifle Convention in Nebo, IL, and the Okalahoma Full Auto shoot near Wyandotte, OK, and both were small events that definitely show potential.

THR is probably going to have a SIZABLE contingent at this October's Knob Creek. Camping is good, folks...
