I've got all the machinery to do the job (lathe, dial indiator, centers, etc) and the profile of an AK barrel looks pretty simple. I thought someday, when all my other projects are done, it could be fun to get a custom chamber reamer and build myself a 6x39mm AK.
Any big pitfalls for an advanced amateur to watch out for on a project like this?
Edit: looks like 6mm PPC is exactly what I was thinking of with the 6x39mm :o. I guess that negates the need for a custom reamer.
