If it is in Great shape that seems to be the going rate around here as well (Arizona). Anywhere from 169-179 is what I have seen them at.

That's the problem... they only have one.
The shop around here that generally has them coming in, charges $139 or $149 when they have 5 or more and when they get down to their last two, the price goes up to $169.
Not to rub it in or anything, but I got mine [Russian] for $105 including the gun, two mags, holster, cleaning rod, two grips and a box of Barnaul ammo. :neener:

Don't really have any great burning desire to get one, just thought I might if the price is right...
Now if it was an East German one at that price, I probably would grab it just to flip it.

I've seen them much closer for $200, they are still a great value. Shoots every bit as well as my German made PPK. Would you like them more if they sold for $350?

Oh sure, and I'd be positively in love with them if they were $750.
If you don't know this about me, you should realize that I don't get excited about many, if any, semi-autos.
I have a bunch, and if and when I start getting rid of handguns, the semi-autos go first.
I get excited about revolvers.

{In my best Meet the Parents voice}
How about them new S&Ws, Mike?
Do they get you excited? :D
Just kidding... I'm about like you in reverse, the autos go last. Revo's I can live without (though I currently own a fair number) if forced to one action type!

SOG Bulgie Mak w/box and accessories showing holster wear $225 in local gun store. Only the second Bulgie Mak I've seen in Philly in the last six months. EG, Miltex, Norinco haven't been available for years.

Mike Irwin, I have owned an East German (EG) Mak since 3/16/2000. I wanted to improve the sights but I was informed the price of the EG was going up and I would lose in the end. What to do? I bought a Bulgie on 3/31/2003 and now I am waiting for modifications to be done. I honestly don't see a lot of difference between my EG and my Bulgie. They are both better pistols than Walther PP type weapons. I gave $165 each, out the door, for both pistols. Regards, Richard:D
