I think the last I heard it was going to be late May or more than likely early June. Probably read it on KTOG.

My dealer has had three on order since the Shot Show, and I'm first on his list! :D

How about the state of California (not the tax-payers) funding the tests with confiscated drug money?

I can't blame the smaller makers for shying away from the Cali-tests... just based on the expense involved... especially as they aren't suffering from the loss of sales.

Y'all need to get organized and whip them legiscritters into shape, or vote them out of office. :D

Update from KT today - 100 have been shipped. Others being built, waiting on magazines from Mec-Gar expected any day.

if the P-3AT has the hammer block like the P-32 does (I think it does) it would have no problem passing any drop test.... The problem is that I don't think KT will sell them in CA because they don't want to get sued... I can't say I blame them.

Here's an update from KT's website from yesterday and a posting by a KT gunsmith on the P-3ATs. 100 shipped so far, more soon:


P-3AT UPDATE: The P-3AT pistol is currently in production. The first units were shipped on 5-23-2003. (posted 6-3-2003)


SU-16 UPDATE: The SU-16 rifle is currently in production. We anticipate the first units will be shipped by the end of june. (posted 6-3-2003)

Actually they were distributed among each distributer 5 each til they were gone. Don't know which ones except for B&H Gunrack in Merritt Island and those were already presold (if there is such a word) I delivered those myself.

I handled one at the Dallas gun show this past weekend... was priced too high at $299, but its small, light, and not much different externally from the P-32s that were $219. :D

Still waiting on my dealers order to come in... price will be much better... where it should be.
